The City of Orlando is an International Business Center
|
| But, downtown Orlando is more than just business. Charming, high-quality neighborhoods located close by and a vital nightlife give the city a cosmopolitan flavor within a close-knit community. Golf Course Communities and Retirement Communities, as well as "old-fashioned" quaint small towns in the Metro Orlando area are also growing and add to the diversity. Expansion is under way at Orlando International Airport, one of the fastest growing major international airports in the world and the16th busiest in the nation. And with great weather year-round, Orlando offers a great atmosphere to tee-off on more then 150 golf courses, sail in a hot air balloon or chase the big catch. |
| The Orange County Convention Center,
located on International Drive, now has 2.1 million square feet of exhibit
space, making it the 2nd largest convention center in the U.S. 25
minutes east of the
Orlando
International Airport and located
directly across the street from the Peabody
Orlando Hotel.
The International Drive Resort Area offers a host of hotels and resorts which cater to today's business and convention professionals with each offering an array of world-class meetings and banquet facilities. |

Unparalleled quality of life is Metro Orlando's signature
|
|
What ultimately sets Metro Orlando apart is its remarkable quality of life. A warm sunny climate; professional sports including basketball, baseball, soccer, football and golf; outdoor recreational activities ranging from auto racing to wind surfing; cultural activities including ballet, museums and Broadway shows; world-famous attractions; nearby beaches and much more are available year-round to Metro Orlando residents. |
| Golf enthusiasts will be interested to note that the region is home to more than 100 top ranked golf courses and that more professional golfers live in Orlando than in any other city in the United States, including legend Arnold Palmer and young superstar Tiger Woods. Many of these players have left their mark on the area through the design of unique courses. Best of all, these world-class courses are available for play 365 days a year! Perhaps you'd like to own real estate in a beautiful golf club community. We can help you with that, too. |
|
| From a spectator's viewpoint, Metro Orlando attracts high-quality competitions, whether it involves professional basketball, World Cup soccer, NASCAR racing, collegiate bowl football, tennis and golf, and myriad other sports. Cultural opportunities also abound. They include nationally recognized art festivals, a world-class science center, an annual Shakespeare festival, a Broadway theatre series, ballet, art museums and much more. (February through March, the Atlanta Braves Spring Training and April through September, The Orlando Rays play in the metro area.) |
|
Metro Orlando is equally well known for
its outstanding health care facilities, affordable and high-quality child
care programs, and exceptional community services, including police, fire
and emergency medical. The area boasts an abundance of diverse housing
options, at prices well below national averages. The fact that the state
of Florida has no personal income tax also is attractive to residents. These amenities, natural and "man-made," make Metro Orlando a great place to work and to live. Major employers |
| find that Central Florida's unparalleled quality of life enhances employee recruitment and retention. From charming condos, villas, townhomes and single-family neighborhoods to luxury estate homes, housing choices are extensive. |

| Golden
opportunities
Spanish explorer Ponce de Leon was the first to seek the fountain of youth in Florida. If you believe that such a wellspring is not a literal fountain, but rather a lifestyle practiced under sunny skies, then it surely can be found in suburban Orlando. Florida’s warm climes have long been a magnet for seniors. That’s especially true now that people are living longer, healthier lives.More and more, the trend is toward an active retirement, and that’s certainly the theme of “golden age” life in Central Florida. If you're looking for a place to call home in a retirement community, the persons you need to talk to are Orlando Realtors John Hambrick and Angela Chapman. |
