historic Clifford houseclearNestled along the shores of Lake Eustis, the town of Eustis provides a relaxed, rural setting for residents.  While tourism does contribute to the economy of Eustis, the town prides itself on having a great diversity of businesses and industries, including agricultural, food products, graphics, forest products, manufacturing, retail and transportation.

Eustis is located in the hub of eastern Lake County's Golden Triangle which gives its residents accessibility to several public and private schools.  Four colleges and universities are within close distance, including Stetson University and the University of Florida.

Nearby theaters and art museums insure that Eustis can offer a diverse calendar of cultural events and activities that are available both locally and within easy commuting distance.

Eustis has the most beautiful lakefront setting anywhere. Lush gardens, cool fountains, a lengthy walk way suspended over the lake, an Olympic pool and historical band shell all enhance Ferran Park in downtown Eustis. A city marina, restaurants, a bed and breakfast and gift shops all make Eustis the friendly city.

The Trout Lake Nature Center is a 230-acre wildlife preserve located on the north edge of Eustis. The preserve protects the flora and fauna of a wetlands-forest habitat bordering on Trout Lake.
